Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Check your shopping cart to see how much you need to spend to qualify.

When will my order ship?

Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Orders placed before 10am (German Time) are often shipped the same day. Orders placed after 10am are shipped the next business day. We observe German national holidays. During busy launches and sales, please allow a few extra days for your order to ship.

How long does shipping take?

We offer standard and express shipping options, so it depends. Domestic (Germany) shipping takes 1-2 days, International Express shipping usually no more than a week, International standard shipping a few days to a few weeks. For more information, please refer to the shipping estimates shown during checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! We offer affordable tracked international shipping as well as a fast express option.

Where can I track my order?

We will send you a confirmation email once your order has been prepared for shipping. This email includes a tracking link. You can also review your order status under "my account".

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

Sure, but unfortunately only via standard shipping.

Do you offer eco-friendly shipping?

All of our shipping options are carbon-neutral. For domestic and standard international shipping, we use DHL's carbon-neutral GoGreen service. For express shipping, we offset the emissions ourselves.

My order contains pre-order items. When will it ship?

Usually within 1-2 weeks unless otherwise noted. Please check your order confirmation email or your account's order history for more details. We do not divide orders, so your order will ship when all items have become available.

Shipping issues

Why has my order not shipped?

While we generally ship orders the next business day (Monday to Friday), German public holidays might affect your processing times. Processing times may also be longer during launches or sales. Thank you for your understanding!

What happens if I'm not at home when my order arrives?

We won't take it personally. Usually a second and sometimes third delivery attempt will be made. Your parcel may also be dropped off at a nearby post office which will be reflected in the tracking status. After a holding period your parcel will then be returned to us.

What if my order gets lost in transit?

Our statistics over the last 6 years show that even international shipments are extremely rarely lost. However, delays can sometimes occur, for example due to customs inspections. In such cases, we ask for a little patience while we initiate an investigation. If your shipment, is indeed lost, we will send you a replacement or offer you a refund, depending on the availability of goods and your location.

What if I refuse a package?

Once your order has been returned to us, we will refund the purchase price minus the original shipping cost and any additional costs associated with re-importing your shipment. Please note that with non-EU shipments, these costs are often significant and can sometimes exceed the purchase price. We kindly ask that you cancel your order instead of refusing it to avoid both the cost and unnecessary carbon emissions.

Why does my order not come with a packing slip?

To minimize waste. Once your order is ready to ship, we'll send you an email with all the details instead.

Customs and duties

Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?

Depending on your country of residence, your order may be subject to some import taxes or duties. In some countries, there is a duty-free amount under which you will not be charged anything. However, when in doubt, please contact your local customs office.

Can you put a lower amount on the customs declaration?

No, because that would be tax fraud. But have a look at our stockists and see if there's one in your country.

Returns

What's your return policy?

If you do not like your order, you can return it to us within 14 days of receipt, no questions asked, provided the products are unused. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Once we have received the returned goods, we will refund the purchase price to your original payment method. In any case, please send us a message before returning anything to us.

What if there's items missing from my order?

Our shipping system is completely electronic. Before we pack your order, each item is scanned. For incomplete shipments, the system refuses to generate a shipping label. So it is extremely unlikely that an order would ever miss an item. In fact, we've not experienced this in several years. When in doubt, please double-check your order against the items listed in the confirmation email. If, against all odds, your order is in fact incomplete, we will of course replace or refund the missing items.

What if I receive a damaged or faulty product?

Depending on product availability and your location, we'll send you a replacement or offer you a refund. We'll usually need pictures of the defective items, so please do not throw them away before contacting us.

Payment

Which payment methods do you offer?

We offer PayPal and Credit Card payments internationally, Sezzle (installment payments) in the US and Canada and Klarna in the EU.

Products

Why are some of your products not intended for eye use in the US?

Like most vegan brands, we use synthetic colorants (dyes) in our products to substitute animal -derived ingredients like Carmine. In the EU, which has some of the strictest cosmetic regulations in the world, these colorants are considered safe for eye use. The FDA however, mostly for historical reasons, does not permit some of them to be used around the eye area. That's why we need the disclaimer, but you are welcome to ignore it. In fact, you've probably used these colorants around your eyes already (if you ever bought a "pressed pigment" or any colorful vegan makeup, really), as have millions of Europeans for decades with no ill effects. Our products are also dermatologically tested, so unless you have a known sensitivity, there is no cause for concern.

Which of your products are vegan?

All of them. We're a 100% PeTA-certified vegan brand.

Where are your products made?

Most of them we make in-house in Berlin, Germany. The rest are designed and formulated by us and then made by our partners in the EU and China. You can see where a product is made on its respective product page

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin/eyes?

A lot of our customers report that they are able to use our products with no issues when others have caused them irritation or discomfort. Our products are also dermatologically tested to ensure that most people will be able to use them without problems. That said, your skin is unique and so we encourage customers with sensitivities to always do a patch test in an inconspicuous area first. Please discontinue the use of our products if they cause irritation.

Are your products gluten-free?

Yes, all of our products are gluten-free. Our Vitamin E (Tocopherol) is derived from soy.

Do your products contain GMOs?

No. All of our products are GMO-free.

Do your products contain talc?

Most of our products including all of our single eyeshadows are talc-free. Please refer to the ingredient lists on the product detail pages to see if a particular product contains talc.

Do your products contain parabens?

No. All of our products are paraben-free.

Where does the Mica in your products come from?

We source our Mica from a European supplier who is a member of the Responsible Mica Initiative. The Mica is mined in India and China without the use of child-labor and under strict supervision. We also support the Kailash Satyarthi foundation, a charity that offers scholarships to children rescued from forced labor.

Do your products contain microplastics?

No. All of our products are free from microplastics.

Do you offer sample sizes or your products?

Unfortunately we do not. However, some of our stockists may offer testers in-store.

The brand

Why is the brand called Lethal Cosmetics?

Think "lethal" as in "fierce". We all have a lethal side when it comes to standing up for those we love or for what we think is right.

When was Lethal Cosmetics founded?

In 2016. We launched in January of 2017.

Who owns Lethal Cosmetics?

Lethal Cosmetics has never received outside funding and is still owned 100% by its original founders, Anna-Maria and Kai Jäger.

Quand est-ce que ma commande sera expédiée ?

Les commandes passées avant 10h (heure allemande) sont généralement expédiées le jour même. Celles passées après 10h sont expédiées le jour ouvrable suivant. Nous travaillons du lundi au vendredi et respectons les jours fériés allemands.

Combien de temps dure la livraison ?

Allemagne : 1-2 jours. Express international : jusqu'à une semaine. Standard international : quelques jours à plusieurs semaines.

Livrez-vous à l'international ?

Oui, nous livrons dans le monde entier avec des options standard et express.

Où puis-je suivre ma commande ?

Vous recevrez un lien de suivi dans votre email de confirmation d'expédition. Vous pouvez également suivre votre commande dans "Mon Compte".

Livrez-vous aux boîtes postales ?

Oui, mais uniquement en livraison standard.

Proposez-vous une livraison écologique ?

Oui, notre expédition est neutre en carbone. Nous utilisons DHL GoGreen pour la livraison standard et compensons les émissions pour l’express.

Ma commande contient des articles en précommande. Quand sera-t-elle expédiée ?

Votre commande sera expédiée lorsque tous les articles seront disponibles. Les délais exacts sont indiqués dans votre email de confirmation.

Problèmes de Livraison

Pourquoi ma commande n'a-t-elle pas été expédiée ?

Les lancements, les soldes ou les jours fériés peuvent provoquer des retards. Merci pour votre patience.

Que se passe-t-il si je ne suis pas chez moi lors de la livraison ?

Une deuxième tentative de livraison sera effectuée. Votre colis peut être déposé dans un point de retrait.

Que faire si ma commande est perdue ?

Si votre commande est perdue, nous vous enverrons un remplacement ou nous vous rembourserons.

Que faire si je refuse un colis ?

Si vous refusez un colis, nous vous rembourserons le prix d'achat moins les frais d'expédition initiaux et les frais de réexpédition éventuels. Pour éviter ces coûts, nous vous recommandons d'annuler votre commande à l'avance.

Pourquoi ma commande n'a-t-elle pas de bordereau d'expédition ?

Pour réduire les déchets. Vous recevrez un email avec les détails de votre commande.

Droits de Douane et Taxes

Devrai-je payer des droits de douane ou des taxes ?

Selon votre pays de résidence, votre commande peut être soumise à des taxes d'importation. Contactez votre bureau de douane local pour plus de détails.

Pouvez-vous indiquer un montant inférieur sur la déclaration en douane ?

Non, cela constituerait une fraude fiscale. Consultez nos distributeurs pour voir s’il en existe un dans votre pays.

Retours

Quelle est votre politique de retour ?

Vous pouvez retourner les articles non utilisés dans les 14 jours suivant leur réception. Les frais de retour sont à votre charge.

Que faire s'il manque des articles à ma commande ?

Vérifiez votre email de confirmation pour vous assurer que tout a été expédié. Si un produit est manquant, nous vous enverrons un remplacement.
